Could this be the final resting place of the Bottoms Up?
In January, Paul was able to provide the RW team back in the states with a tremendous lead to pursue. Through exhaustive research, both he and his wife located a potential wreck site that appears to be in an area of the Adriatic where the Bottoms Up may have went down. At present, we believe that this wreck may be an unknown B-24.
Currently, Paul has put together a team of local divers along with a surface support crew with the hope of identifying this B-24 using various serial numbers and other identifying characteristics. In the next few weeks, we hope to find some answers as the group will dive the wreck.
